Introduction to Sourdough
From Starter to Loaf

You've learned what sourdough is. Now it's time to actually bake it.
This is the natural next step after the Sourdough Session - a full day devoted to the complete process, from maintaining your starter to pulling a golden loaf from the oven. If you're serious about baking real sourdough at home, this is where the journey truly begins.

The Experience
Spend the day with Babette working through every stage of sourdough bread. You'll learn to read your dough, understand fermentation timing, and master the techniques that transform flour, water, and salt into something extraordinary. Tea, coffee, and a thoughtful lunch with wine accompany the afternoon as your dough rises and develops.

This isn't rushed, it's a proper immersion. You'll mix, fold, shape, score, and bake your own sourdough loaf, leaving with both the finished bread and a second prepared dough to bake at home. More importantly, you'll leave with the confidence and understanding to make sourdough a regular part of your kitchen routine.
